About Me
UKCP Accredited Psychotherapist, EMDR Practitioner & Clinical Supervisor
Hello, I’m Jayne, welcome to my website,
Taking the step to enter therapy requires courage. When choosing a practitioner, it is vital to find someone who not only holds the right clinical credentials, but someone with whom you feel genuinely safe, seen, and met on a human level.
I am a fully qualified, UKCP accredited psychotherapist with extensive experience helping individuals and couples transform their lives, repair relationship connections, and heal from past trauma. Alongside my clinical practice, I provide an ethically grounded, reflective space for fellow professionals as a clinical supervisor.

My Philosophy & Approach
I practice as a Humanistic Integrative therapist with a Transpersonal perspective. This means I do not see you as a clinical set of symptoms to be managed, but as a whole human being—encompassing body, mind, feelings, and soul.
Human struggles are complex, often rooted in a mix of early relational patterns, stored trauma, and a deeply felt loss of personal meaning or purpose. My approach bridges the gap between deep psychological exploration and the broader existential dimensions of life.
Humanistic Core: I believe you possess an innate capacity for self-healing. I offer a warm, collaborative, and entirely non-judgmental relationship where you can safely rediscover your own inner wisdom.
Integrative Versatility: I draw from diverse therapeutic frameworks—including psychodynamic insights and body-focused trauma awareness like EMDR—to tailor our sessions uniquely to your rhythm.
Transpersonal Perspective: We will address everyday struggles like anxiety or burnout, but we will also hold space for your deeper search for meaning. I view psychological pain not just as a crisis, but as a potential turning point or catalyst for profound personal and spiritual awakening.
Whether we work online or face-to-face in my Enfield Town room, my goal is to guide you through your struggles at a pace that feels completely secure, helping you create a life aligned with your truest self.
My Specialisms & Areas of Expertise
While I welcome a broad spectrum of human experiences, I hold specialized training and deep clinical experience in:
Trauma & PTSD Resolution (EMDR): Helping individuals reprocess distressing memories or childhood adversity so they lose their painful emotional charge.
Relationship and Couples Therapy: Assisting partners in identifying destructive communication loops, rebuilding trust, and fostering authentic emotional intimacy.
Existential & Spiritual Questioning: Supporting individuals navigating identity shifts, mid-life transitions, existential dread, or a profound loss of life purpose.
Reflective Clinical Supervision: Providing a collaborative, trauma-informed, and soul-centric space for qualified counsellors, psychotherapists, and trainees to process their clinical work.
Professional Accreditations & CPD
For your complete peace of mind, my private practice is strictly regulated by the UK's leading professional bodies. I maintain comprehensive professional indemnity insurance and engage in regular continuous professional development (CPD). Psychotherapy knowledge continues to grow and develop requiring regular CPD to remain accredited with UKCP and to continue in my own self development. In more recent years there has been a growing need for CPD to explore and understand Neurodivergent brains and gender identity to further inform my private practice. I meet on a regular basis with my peers and carry out formal supervision for both humanistic & transpersonal and EMDR modalities.
UKCP Accredited Member (UK Council for Psychotherapy): This accreditation reflects a rigorous, post-graduate master's-level standard of clinical training, supervised hours, and personal therapeutic depth.
EMDR Association UK Member: Fully trained and registered to deliver specialized EMDR protocols.
Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) Registered: Fully compliant with UK data protection and GDPR regulations.
Beyond the Clinic Room
Outside of my clinical work and spending time with family and friends, I enjoy exploring new places, walking in nature, reading a good fictional novel and I most definitely find calm and relaxation in tending to my garden and indoor plants, where I do most of my deep thinking and reflecting! Engaging in my own grounding practices enhances the presence, energy, and empathy I bring into the therapy room with my clients.
